Here in Oklahoma we are known for our volatile weather. We never know what it will bring from one day to the next. Hail and strong Oklahoma winds can hit at any moment causing major roof damage. A new roof is an important investment. JC Building Concepts offers full roof replacement services and can assist in filing a claim with your insurance company. As in every aspect of our business we strive for 100 percent customer satisfaction. JC Building Concepts is insured and our crews are professional, prompt and always respectful of your property.
Advantages we offer over many other roofers:
- We are a Christian based company that strives for character that of Christ!
- Organized & Dependable (we do what we say we’re going to do!). We have experience in the complete make-up of a house not just the roof. This is an advantage because we are able to get down to the root of the problem that causes some roof leaks and failures. We have applicable knowledge to not only fix but prevent future problems.
- There is always someone overseeing key installation areas to prevent devastating errors that could cause major problems in certain types of Oklahoma weather.
- We always install ice & water shield around problematic areas and in valleys to prevent major damage from storms
- Our business is strong financially (no debt). Therefore, we don’t require money up front and are able to wait for payment in most cases from insurance companies.
- We have the option to hand nail upon request.
- We will assist you with your claim by working with your insurance company after the initial claim is started (this is optional and you always have the option of to deal with the insurance company yourself).
- We will meet with your adjuster to assure you are treated fairly on your claim (we act as a representative on your behalf).
Some recommended Upgrades:
- Ice & water shield around perimeter of house to complete the prevention of all ice damming
- Class 4 Impact resistant shingles
- Atlas Impact Resistant shingles with manufacturer recommended installation system that provides a 10 year labor warranty
- Install crickets (a small ridge with sloped sides) on front side of fireplaces to redirect water from running dead into fireplaces which is a large cause of leaks around fireplaces
If you suspect you may have damage we offer free estimates & inspections. We will come out and inspect your roof, measuring the exact square footage of your home or building. We will simplify the process to make it as convenient for you as possible. Whether it’s 1000 or 10,000 square feet we have you covered!

How long will my roof take from start to finish?
How can I trust that the roofer will do it right?
Will I have to pay my deductible?
If I find a roofer to do my roof cheaper then can I keep the left over money the insurance company pays?
What is the difference between 25 year and 30 year shingles (3-tab & architectural aka laminate)?
Should I spend the money to install an impact resistant or a lifetime shingle?
Q: How long will my roof take from start to finish?
A: Most roofs are completed in one to two day depending on size.
Q: How can I trust that the roofer will do it right?
A: Always check at least 3 references (make sure that they are not family members or ask to see a completed job).
We automatically hand out a reference list with at least 8 references and we would be happy to send you by a completed job.
Make sure the company you choose has general liability and workers comp. They should be able to give you proof of both!
Q: Will I have to pay my deductible?
A: It depends on how much your deductible is. Some vary from $500 to 1% of your policy value (Example: policy limit $150,000 then deductible would be $1500).
We always try and get the job done with little or no money out of your pocket.
A: That would be committing fraud!
The last place you want to cut corners is the roof over your head!
Be very careful of salesmen making empty and illegal promises! This is a common occurrence so you need to be cautious.
Q: What is the difference between 25 year and 30 year shingles (3-tab & architectural aka laminate)?
A: 25 year 3-tab shingles are a single ply shingle. They are unforgiving to roof frame and decking imperfections. They are an entry level shingle usually chosen because the customer is on a budget and/or it’s what existed on the house previously therefore it’s usually the shingle the insurance company pays for to be replaced.
30 year architectural is a far better shingle. It’s designed to have the texture of wood shingles. This is a laminated shingle (2ply). It hides imperfections well. In some cases if you upgrade to this shingle your insurance company may offer a discount.
Q: Should I spend the money to install an impact resistant or a lifetime shingle?
A: That depends on your circumstances. If you plan on living in your house for a long time then it may be worth the extra cost. In some cases if you install an impact resistant (class 4) then you may get as much as a 20% discount.
Calculate the savings in this case and figure out how long it would take for the upgrade to pay for itself then ask yourself if it’s worth it to you.
